Participate in a regenerative mindfulness meditation retreat created to revitalize, rejuvenate, and restore the body mind and soul…Due to public demand this expanded day-long retreat is dedicated to breathing new vitality into life with renewed commitment and blueprint for intentional living and self-care.

Join experts Julie Potiker and Micole Noble who are generously donating their time to support The Ship’s Living Classroom Project. This proven outreach program combines cultural and natural science content with art and food infused with outdoor exploration and nature discovery activities. This program is designed to expand the practices of sharing food, reducing food waste and creating greater connection with the land and waters we depend on. The program will focus first on outreach serving the local Kumeyaay tribal communities employing and emphasizing the values of culinary arts and cooking practices to enhance public awareness of food sovereignty. Food Sovereignty is the right of people to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods, and the right to define their own food and agriculture systems. Food sovereignty begins with mindfulness and re-establishing a sacred relationship with food and an interdependent relationship with the planet.

THE GOAL of the retreat is to raise money for this worthy and unique program while learning how to tune into a sustainable and enhanced relationship with nature, ourselves and the community around us. Weaving together the teachings of mindfulness, self-compassion practice, primordial sound meditation and gentle yoga, the participants will experience new ways of healing themselves. During this retreat we will connect with Mother Earth and Father Sky, as well as food, focusing deeply on how we are connected to our surroundings and our internal human landscape.

THE LOCATION of the retreat is perfectly suited for a day of stillness. It is located on two acres of lush botanical oasis with a natural stream and wandering footpaths. It is here that the participants will learn how to manifest wellness for all, and carry these practices into their daily lives with greater stillness and awareness.
