The mission of this residency program

  • collaborate with SHIP team on new projects

The resident here has time to explore their own space and also engage with the SHIP team.

Time: 1-3 months

Lodging: On property

Food: Provide your own. Meals are shared as well. 

Syllabus: No

Funding: Self Funded

Application process
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly.

How many artists come per year?
host to 8 visiting artists per year.

Do I need prior experience? 

Yes the ability to build and create from fresh ideas are important.  A college degree is not necessary.  Samples of work is required in application.

Professionals who demonstrate a deep commitment to their practices. The program is open to artists of all generations, nationalities, and disciplines. Applicants are required to cover studio rental costs themselves. Although we primarily support visual artists,
