The Living Classroom was created as a classroom for living healthier and more meaningful lives while demonstrating how creative expression can enhance our relationships, our communities and the environments we depend on. We began by using the arts to reestablish and restore our relationship with food, and social consciousness. To help express these fundamental goals we’ve sought out partnerships with like-minded organizations, artists, musicians and visionary leaders.
This pursuit recently brought us to Poonacha Machaiah, an advisor for Deepak Chopra, dynamic social entrepreneur, and founder of the Way of Well Being, among many other enterprises. Poonacha has graciously offered to help enhance and present at our Regeneration Retreats and Arts and Healing Series. With Poonacha’s guidance and experienced network of leaders we are also developing a business framework to inspire and launch Arts, Healing and Technology entrepreneurs into new innovative dimensions.
These collaborative efforts will not only create opportunities for artists and technology innovators, we aim to develop mentoring programs, and direct outreach to targeted youth in need. While technology has empowered many of us it has also taken its toll on so many marginalized youth and disadvantaged communities. We feel that those same technologies that have numbed, distracted and divided us can be harnessed and infused with the arts and enlightened spirits to heal, inspire and engage youth in new, conscious and purposeful ways.
Please attend our events and contribute to the Living Classroom so that we can help expand our efforts and apply the value and applications of the arts.
