A SHIP IN WOODS is a non-profit organization engaging the community through art, music, new media, technology, science, and culture. Located on a 2 acre oak grove in San Diego’s North County, SHIP is a residential art gallery and residency, created to make an impact on the community by offering programming that inspires elevated dialogue and engaging our ever-evolving experience of the world. Through diverse curated events, residency programs, and interdisciplinary collaborations,  A SHIP IN THE WOODS has become a thriving community of innovative thinkers and supporters.

Light and sound collaboration with renown vision scientist Patrick Cavanagh, Salk neurobiologist John Reynolds, Greg Smaller sound artist and Paradox Design shown at SDArt Fair, WoW Festival (La Jolla Playhouse) and The Filmatic Festival at UC San Diego.
